The Waskom Public Library is a proud participant in the TexShare program.
The TexShare Card is a statewide library card that allows patrons to
use materials in participating libraries throughout Texas.
- Have a valid Waskom Public Library Card.
- Register for and receive a TexShare Card from the library.
- Consult the TexShare
to see the list of libraries which participate and the specific
lending policies of the library. These resources licensed exclusively
for our patrons. Contact a librarian for the required login and
password for access.
- Present the TexShare card at the reciprocating library’s
circulation desk to activate checkout privileges.
- Check out the books at the circulation desk.
- Return the materials to the lending library by the due date. Fees
will be assessed for lost, late, or damaged materials. It is the
patron’s responsibility to take care of borrowed materials and
return them on time.
TexShare Database Information
The TexShare Database Program provides a wealth of electronic database
resources to libraries throughout the state. These electronic databases
are available 24 hours a day in the homes or offices of registered patrons
of participating Texas libraries. They provide full-text articles from
journals, newspapers, magazines, and many other sources.
